Writer/Director

I am a prolific writer who loves telling small character driven stories about other women and queer people. I am especially drawn to using the Science Fiction and Fantasy genres as a lens to explore complex thoughts, feelings and ideas.

I am also a documentarian, often inspired by the real stories happening every day. A very visual person, I often had more ideas for my scripts than just what’s on the page and am thankful to have gotten to direct several of my own scripts, including the unique sci-fi inspired documentary ‘Humans in the Wild: Toddlers’ & ‘Flying Free: Behind the Scenes of Birdcage’.

My films are often uplifting and positive as I strive to use my art to celebrate the human spirit and be an inspiration to others. A recent graduate of SAIT's Film and video production program, I am eager to join Calgary's talented indie scene as a unique, authentic voice who advocates for our environment and underrepresented minorities.
